While I'm not a beginner as such, I'm certainly not too knowledgeable and I really don't know where to start with this. I did a manual frugal install of Sensei Full and so far am very happy with it. I love xfce! It's on a Dell Latitude D520. Is there anything I can install that will let me have mor...

I was able to get it to load using this initrd.gz md5 = 9ec2c52016dcd4ba6d8457b59aba30a8 could you two try this initrd...and see if ...

Used UNetbootin to load the ISO to USB. thanks for that efgee. guess that confirms it. i need to try it on some more machines. r u certain unetbootin pulled...

i just uploaded an lxde sendesk for Sensei. For users who may happen to prefer lxde/openbox over xfce. I shrunk the size of the isos about 40 more MB and made some adjustments to keep the different desktops working neatly and without issues. So if you prefer lxde over xfce...delete or backup sendesk...

interestingly when i am at initial ram disk prompt, if I run "~./init" then it finds the sendesk, senapps, sensei64_001.sfs! However after it says "copy to ram" it still leaves me at inital ram disk prompt. :( does it appear to go through the complete 'usual' boot procedure? loa...

i jus reuploaded Sensei64 with the updated initrd.gz. Would be nice if another user could test it on usb...and report if it successfully loaded....or ended with "sfs not found". i also fixed the kernel panic when loading a save file on usb, added xarchiver, zip, unzip, unrar, pupsaveresize...

Sensei files are in /Sensei64/ The light on the drive only turns on when there is activity, it blinks when kernel and initrd load, but then stop after that. I can even mount the flash drive from the ramdisk prompt too, and am able to access files. Ok...so it's doing everything but finding the files...

no...that should be right, even with the dashes. try this...after loading and getting the sfs not found...from that prompt, type in modprobe ehci_hcd...and see if u get an error. does your flash drive have a light indicator of some sort to let u know that it's on....like how the sandisk flash drives...

meowcats...

i'm wondering if there's a driver not loading your drive. are the sfs files on an internal HD or on a usb drive?
