I want to make an X Window Manager
I want to make a Window Manager for X, and filemanager and desktop, but thats a different story. I am having trouble finding information on how to do so or if you could recommend one that I might look into forking, my goal is for it to be light, with limited customization.

Thanks
Thats what DCL is for. I'm not going to branch of or anything crazy, I just want to have a Puplet with choices that might not be for very old hardware, but what the average user wants.

I'm ready.
Well you both seem to be having a fun disagreement. I ran DCL 2008, thats Puppy 3.01 with XFCE on a P200MMX with 96MB RAM, and opened firefox 2.0.11 with no swap. Although the CPU didn't have speed the RAM was fine. I'd tell anyone that 128MB was enough for IM and the Web, But anything more and 256 ...

Thanks Guys
Wow, I wasn't sure anyone noticed. I'm pretty sure it was the crappy CMSimple I was using that got me hacked. Anyways my sites up and running. http://brandoncornell.com/?page=dcl.html I had spent a short time with other distros while waiting for 4.1 with SMP, to see what I could learn from them. Onc...

There has been talk about 4.2 and now could be the time to talk about 5.0 Puppy 3 is only on its second release and 4 is almost to the second, we need to decide what to do right now, with 3 and 4 before deciding to start a new version. We need 1 developer to step and and take over building the base...

I suppose my opinion isn't the most important. I haven't been around for a couple months, because I has trying other Linux Distros, to expand my knowledge, but I'm back again, and the minute 4.1 comes out, I'll be installing it, and you can expect a DCL 2009 in early 2009. I think that any project t...

EEE Wifi Driver
I have a question about the EEE wifi driver. I'm asking because I make the puplet DCL, so say in DCL 2009, I include the patch so it will work on my EEE, will some devices not work because they want the stock ath_pci driver?
