That last suggestion works perfectly! I now have my Solaris apps showing up on my PuppyLinux laptop. Functions just fine.

Thanks so much for the assist. One more thing to do to wean myself from Microsoft. :-)

I should clarify: I would travel to different sites, and connect to a Solaris/Sun server with a puppylinux laptop. I would not have the option to install remote connectivity software on the Solaris box. At present, I do this with Hummingbird on a WinXP laptop. In the DOS/Windows world, this could be...

Using PuPPY to remote to a Sun Server

Reading the forum about remoting to Puppy Linux. I'd like to go the other way: Using Puppylinux to display the desktop of a Sun server running Solaris and XWindows. Any ideas?
