/mnt/sda2/RoxApps But when booting from USB flash drive this could be also: - /mnt/sdc1/PortableApplications64 or even /mnt/sdc2/RoxApps for the RoxApps to run. Hi Rainer, I don't know whether you've solved this problem or not but I thought I would mention how I have dealt with it. In my Portabrows...

Re: April devx.sfs download

Where do I download April64 devx.sfs and kernel-headers.sfs. devx-7.0.1-april64.pet . You can convert this to a .sfs by: 1)Use Uextract to extract the .pet to devx-7.0.1-april64.pet.extracted . 2)Go inside the extracted file and then into devx-7.0.1-april64 and delete pet.specs & pinstall.sh . ...

. Sheldon and JRB, Thanks for the side talk among old guys. At 75, I have cycled 48 years. Can't keep up with young rabbits, and refuse to ride with the ladies. Bicycling around the county has become my "Quiet Time" . Helps keep my mind less cluttered, so my Linux code work is better. We ...

I believe it needs pulseaudio if you want to share (as in Desktop sharing) the local computer audio with your meeting attendees. For basic computer audio voice conversation pulseaudio isn't needed.
Thanks Step, much appreciated. 8)

Good! Would you mind listing the files you installed and any special setup mods you had to make?

Thanks, J

Thank you jrb for the update of april64-zoom iso. Zoom working with no problem, held a test meeting with it. Audio problem though, zoom wants pulse audio - where can I get pulse audio for april64. Just to clarify, you say "Zoom working with no problem". I take this to mean that audio work...

Re: zoom for april64

Hi jrb, I downloaded your april-zoom iso, but when I launch zoom in terminal I get the output in attached screenshot. I had similar issue with zoom in stretchdog and zoom was able to start after installing mesa. Where can I find mesa for april64? I was sure I had it working. Mesa is already ...

Re: April64-Zoom

I'm now 85 years old, with diabetes diagnosed in 2018. Maybe that's related to some other physical problems. Anyhow, my riding is almost non-existent these days. I used to do some of the slower club rides, as well as utility riding. 85 with what are obviously fully functioning mental faculties (don...

@ jrb:- Tried your Quirky with the built-in Zoom. Unfortunately, it's a no-go for me. If I fire it up exactly as you released it, Zoom starts up as it should. But with the k3.14.54 kernel, I have no audio.....which makes Zoom kinda pointless. If I then do the kernel swap with Xenial64's k4.9.58, I ...

Re: Zoom video conferencing app

gabtech wrote:Has anyone had luck with zoom in tahr64.
Zoom needs mesa which is not included in tahr64-light. But I just uploaded april64-zoom-7.0.1-uefi.iso which is Zoom ready, nothing to add and the April64 OS is lighter-weight than tahr64-light. Give it a try and let me know how it does.

Cheers, J

April64-Zoom

I know lots of people are ZOOMing about nowadays, including my wife. I've set her up to run it in Xenial64 and I see it runs nicely in Bionicpup64 but neither of these are exactly lightweights. So I thought I'd have a go at getting it to run in April64, and it works. I used 666philb's zoom-x...
