Thanks guys for the responses. I used Puppy for years but changed over to Crunchbang and have been there ever since but my netbook which I use sometimes when I'm not at my desk lags with #! and Mint. I'm a Debian fan but it's a little heavy for my eee 1015pe. I'd have thought that Puppy would have a...

What's the most recent Puppy for eeepc?

Been searching around google and the forums but I'm not seeing any current puppys for the eeepc anymore. I was looking at lxpup but I'm not quite sure. Does anyone use an eeepc anymore and use Puppy with it? I have a eeepc 1015ha model and I use debian on my normal computer.

Ok I downloaded the saluki iso. Had to use vanilla 5 series to make a bootable usb. Looking at the file it only has initrd, ldlinux.sys, syslinux.cfg, and vmlinuz. Dont I need a sfs file? This lupu version has one. I downloaded another puplet recently onto usb and upon trying to boot from it the com...

Puppy for netbooks

Ive got a 10 inch eeepc with n270 processor. Something like a 1015 hab or something like that. I've spent two days looking for a copy of puppeee for the atom but can't find anything. I'm running #! now on it but I'd like the speed of puppy. Is anyone developing any puplets for the Atom netbooks?

Ttuuxxx was running a save file of about 12 gigs for a while. I'll look for the thread he posted about it. I don't know if woof and dpup are different because I haven't ran either of them. I do something similar to what you're suggesting. My laptop hd is divided into 4 partitions, one of which is a ...

Facebook works fine with 4.3.1 using Seamonkey 2.0 on my computer and brother in laws. He had a bunch of problems and upgraded to 2.0 and he reported that Seamonkey finally rendered Facebook correctly.
