Wad2PDF
I love Doom, but some times get lost. I was naturally excited to discover this python program, but it was a bit cumbersome to use without a script. I grabbed it's required glbsp, node builder, and wrote a script that uses the case command to find your IWAD or main game file in your DOOMWADDIR and th...

Oblige
Oblige is a gui level maker for Doom. It makes PWADS in a variety of sourceports and also in different themes. The version I am posting comes from the premade package at http://oblige.sourceforge.net/. it is a great tool to make up some games fast. If combined with freedoom it opens up many possibil...

Doomsday Engine
The Doomsday Engine is a popular Doom source port that provides an updated look to classic doom. With numerous resource packs, Doom becomes more modern in look and feel. I cannot offer the resource packs at this time because I lack the space on my dropbox. They can be found on the addons page on the...

Chocolate Doom
Chocolate Doom is a source port that strives to be as close to vanilla or original doom executable as possible. As such it has few advanced features available to it. If you wanted to go back to 1995 or so then this port is perfect. Chocolate doom requires SDL, SDL_Net, SDL_Mixer and an IWAD or main ...

PsDooM
Ever get tired of pprocess or htop and wish you could graphically destroy that malfunctioning process? Maybe you just want to give it a push and renice it. I came across this when working on putting together an all in one doom puppy so I'd be able to take my doom habit with me on the go. http://img3...

Odamex-test pet
Odamex is the GPLed Doom source port for linux that also works online. Doom source ports are modifications of the original Doom engine that take the game data files called WAD and allow one to play the games again. Odamex allows one to play Doom games that are close to tradition and also more advanc...

Welcome back Ale! Long time... odamexd looks great... I think I will have to give it a go, although I'm not expert at compiling! And here's the latest pupdoom frontend, if you have not yet seen it, and want it... It maybe updated from the last version you have, maybe not... It might need running in...

Hi Scottman, Pupdoom just got better^_^ As a doom fan, I also play some other source ports. Zdoom is much more advanced, but not open source. It has a distribute to be played license and that is all. I've been recently using Odamex on windows, but I cannot get it to compile with sound in puppy. An o...

With a machine that old I don't think you'll be using 3d. I recommend either Prboom or Chocolate Doom. To my knowledge nobody has posted one of Chocolate which tries to emulate the original down to the text configuration and the original resolution. Prboom is posted on the forum. It scales up the re...

I just got a new computer so I can play with puppy again. I decided to kick things off by taking a look at your latest project. It looks pretty smooth, but then again I can only test in Virtualbox. The choice of apps is good I am disappointed that you left my joke box in the misc. tab, but did not e...

This is great work, not least as it provided me with the help I needed to make my own frontends for stuff (not as good as yours, though!) Love it, a nice frontend, just enough options, works a treat. Ive also included a little icon i use for its menu entry.. Thanks. Unfortunately I lack a computer ...

Hey Sc0ttman. I got some time in Puppy so I tried compiling Gens GS again. It worked like a charm. Maybe it will be of use to you. Its interface is gtk native which means it looks like it fits in puppy. This is the milestone 6 version. I like it better because it doesn't have that odd window effect....

Ale You can execute 'cd /dir' before opening the fileselect widget. Sigmund That does work quite well. I was using a helper script before to change the directory because I wanted to make it callable from the command line and open in a certain directory. I wasn't specific enough, but I would like to...
