You could also try to add your lib-dirs to LD_LIBRARY_PATH in /etc/profile
After the change, reboot and test if this makes any difference.

hi christian, in my opinion it makes more sense to correct the desktop-files than to manually change the entries in the menu-file every time you rerun the script. And yes, the categories are not that 'streamlined' as they could be... The logic how to extract the categories could be found in the uppe...
