You could also try to add your lib-dirs to LD_LIBRARY_PATH in /etc/profile

After the change, reboot and test if this makes any difference.

Good luck

Also, as an execise, I've been trying to produce a menu directly for wmx from the *.desktop files, and it's hellish! hi christian, when i read this (from wmx readme) -- To start a new application of your choice: use the middle mouse button on the root window, anywhere other than the top-right corne...

bigfoot,

i commented out the puppy-fun.menu line in /etc/xdg/templates/_root_.jwmrc , run fixmenus and restarted jwm and fun is gone.

See pics below. Tested in Puppy 4.31.

Hope that helps

Hi, aragon. Your script does work on my machine. Good work ! :) Problem -- for me -- is the lack of subdivisions within the main categories. And I can't edit this menu if I want /need to. I must say I'm a bit of a maniac on this subject, but still. This will sound childish, but I just need to have ...

Attached you'll find another dynamic menu-generator for pekwm (written in ash/bash). How To use: 1. Download 2. Delete fake-extension ".gz" 3. make executable 4. move to a dir in the bin-path (e.g. /usr/bin) 5. Open /root/.pekwm/menu and insert Submenu = "Applications" { Entry { ...

stu, christian, i've now tested stu's menu-generator in puppy 4.31. it works as expected. perl pekwm-menu is needed if the script is not made executable. @christian i've looked at your example "menu.tar.gz" but can't find that you've added stu's code Submenu = "Applications" { En...

No, there is no pet, it's not the best ways to load programs that large. But there are sfs-files in the saluki-ppm for libreoffice.

hi sylvander,

afaik testdisk tries to recover the partition table on base of bios-information and the drive itself.
