Sorry, the installed hplip does work I was attempting to upgrade it and that wouldn't work. But the current hplip doesn't have the correct driver for the HP d1320.

I just installed Ubuntu on to my laptop....I know nothing of the codes spoken about previously so none of that really helped me out....
