if you are using a usb mouse and keyboard

USB mice and keyboards need some special preperations

try using a PS/2 mouse or keyboard until you can set it to eneable teh USb

The problem i had was that i did have a type 82 hard drive which i wanted to installto, but i did not have enough ram. For the swap file if it is a hard drive partition type 83 it should automatically be detected and used by puppy

And as for mounting an iso, the only way i know to do that is in windows using a program called alcohol

yes it was screwed up, but i fixed it by siwtching the cd and HD cords around (barely fit)
