hal.addon.storage and other problems

Well I did it I bought sata now my cdrom won't open with all my puppies
it seems the delay is set for 2 seconds as far as I can figure it I need 7 seconds and some older equipment requires 12 to 13 seconds doe's anyone know how to adjust this rebooting to change cd's is a bummer :cry:

see this thread to mount sfs files on the fly then just create a script to call sfslinker
then create desktop icon :)

7zip 9.04 pet

no 7zip tools in puppy arcade or puppy so compiled this has the lib and script files for command line sorry no gui 7zG just refuses to compile
compiled in quirky tested in arcade,quriky,lighthouse 4f seems to work just fine in all of them


is there any way to turn back on sfs support?

hmm

I think if that was the case the option to boot which one would come up. if you can see the pup save file it created it. is your motherboard set to boot from usb? what version of puppy are you running? what size is your pendrive? what files where written to your hd, and where? more input needed :wink:

thanks for the responces I have changed the offset from 30 5 with no
result :( my mistake with toolbar size was my icewm button was to big and although I set the size smaller in prefoveride :oops:

I still use xmms and was wondering does anyone have a puppy button with earphones on?

yes there is :) amv-ffmpeg a branch of ffmpeg
now for the hard part how do I merge the amv-branch back into the svn so I can only have 1 ffmpeg?

I really like it but with my screen size the bar is to small
