Yes palemoon uses a lot of RAM when many tabs are open.
That's why I use chromium for many tabs, because it uses less RAM.

Running from USB with a save file seems to be a good idea.

versuch mal den bionicpup32 , das kann schnell gehen.
Du kannst es einfach auf einem USB stick installieren.
(wenn es auf dem Rechner nicht genug RAM gibt, benutzt mal einen Swap.)

Same for folder /root/.dbus/session-bus/ gets filled with many files.
I guess they get created at each bootup, so why not erase them at bootup or use only one ?

It's a known bug.
Solution : dont run steam from the command line, but from the menu.

Try from a fresh bionicpup , without any savefile, and from a usb stick.
Update bionic and install nvidia drivers.
