Thanks MU and PKAG, The .asia account just barely made it through last months bandwidth so I appreciate the help to spread out the files. The .ca servers are still being run under testing mode to check uptime etc. Glad to be able to help when possible. ;) Don't plan on dropping pkagfiles.net as yet...

Same here, login access to download is same as on MU's server. Spread the load around is a good thing. :)

It was compiled on older version of Puppy.
I Just got around to booting up a fresh Dingo alpha 6 & it seems the directory structure is different. Manually copying bin to /usr/bin & geany to /usr/share, Instead of /usr/local/bin & /usr/local/share works OK for me.

Could be that your IP was in a blacklist & was blocked.

Glad you got the file. :)

Updated another link in first post.
I see it has been updated to 0.95, but have similar errors as posted above & haven't had time to look into specifics. I'll get to it, or maybe someone else will beat me to it.

As I've had an ongoing issue with servage & pkagfiles, one of their "fixes" was to move the account to another datacenter & change ALL permissions (directory & file) to 777! Not the brightest bunch it seems. I've had problems with permissions in the past! 403 errors for no rea...

Looks great "Previously known as Guest" but the link doesn't work anymore. I tried downloading it from its homepage and couldn't get the binary to go in Puppy2.16. How did you build your .pup? Thanks, Updated link. I'm not sure now what exactly I did. I packaged the pup with Puppy 2.12 or...

Still doesn't explain why only a little bit of your bandwidth usage is legit. You should look into wiping the server clean, starting anew, and maybe this time, not letting it be so exposed to attacks. Don't tell me it's not exposed, or it's secure. That's obviously bullshit. I would be willing to b...

As I've found after reviewing logs, less than 10% of connections & bandwidth usage is legitimate, too each their there own & YMMV. It's no wonder you've got less than 10% of your connections and bandwidth legitimate. Most of it's coming from tinyurl, or people just lost and don't know where...

after looking at my logs...pakgfiles may be my problem. @klu9..sorry if I mess up your great work..but a ban on pakgfiles is in order. I will pm you klu9 and we can work out the details with regards to the meta-links. redirects/hotlinks from pakgfiles are a problem for my server...and a personal at...

I have had 16000 hits this week...I see no need to block but only a few..the meta-links klu9 is setting up are but another blessing for our servers. I see no need to link pkagfiles to puppylinux.ca thus there is nothing to complain about for either of us...I think this thread is dead..n'est pas? I ...
