Update: for some reason now it doesn't work again, with all devices off in bios ;--( _______________ I had this same problem at bootup on a system. I repartitioned it a few times different ways. Wilsonb, a quick google reveals that picasa can, apparently, run slideshows with fade effect. This app works in puppy. Whether it meets your requirements only you can judge.
