Has anyone tried WMA file playback in Audacious? It is failing for me missing ffaudio.so input plugin:

I was able to get the plug in from my Puppy 5.1.1 install Link but from what I understand, you need to re-compile audacious to load up the plug-in.

How do you disable conky starting up? My laptop I am running on does not have video hardware acceleration (Trident) and is causing high CPU usage and screen flickering. The xorg.conf file is in /etc/X11/ folder. At the prompt enter:
vi /etc/X11/xorg.conf

I had some blackouts recently at my work. My Puppy Linux 2.15CE box would come up but would not start X. I got it work by doing the following at the prompt:
There will be a question about this failing after using the command. Just choose "Try Again" and X should start.

Download the following rpm file:
http://mcmcc.bat.ru/xmms-wma/xmms-wma-1.0.5-1.i386.rpm
Using Rox, open the rpm file and extract all into /tmp (Or your perferred area)
Copy libwma.so into:
Restart xmms and enjoy!
