Working-partition ext4 filesystem shuts down unclean
This has only been happening to me on a memory stick (been happening for a few releases now, but I put it up to the usb driver being shut down before all the 'cache' data being written out, so corrupting data), but I've just realized it never happens on one of my 2 partition hard drive install syste...

Re: EasyOS 2.2.11
strange, not here in australia, i've been getting constants of 1.2 to 1.8 MB/s for a while now, and i'm on a satellite connection so that slows the throuuput down anyway. Or is it your local ibiblio mirror that has problems?FeodorF wrote:ibiblio.org is down to 64 kbits/s

wine 5.0 linux_kernel-5.5 EasyOS Buster :?: :?: :?:  :D Someone else is creating wine5 (separate topic) I did ask. Kernel 5.5 has some changes in device names so barry would need to go through all his scripts and ammend those needing it. It seems to have been reverted in the latest 5.4.17, b...

There are definitely some issues with the new video methods on intel (GMA 3000 I think). I am getting a streak on the monitor and a lot of the time the puppy starts but then the monitor goes blank, makes an attempt to come on again, then goes off again at the final boot stage. I can hear the monito...

Kernel 5.5 is out
Just in case anyone's masochistic enough to build what is basically a 5.5.0,
However 5.4 has got as far as 5.4.15, which seems fine at present for me under basic testing to date, not sure if BarryK's still having problems though.

It suits me, I am u...
