I don't know ANYTHING about compiling so that sounds like a logical step for me.

Thanks userlander. I made sure I did as in: /mnt/sdb1/kevin/programs/games/gsoko/run-gsoko That's a modified run-xrick in there. A straight /mnt/sdb1/kevin/programs/games/gsoko/gsoko doesn't work either. Click on the script or the executable, and voila! Lynn's Legacy (and others) work from the deskt...

Please forgive this non-essential question. Some games (or standalone programs) won't run unless I click the executable directly in ROX. That is, go to and open the directory and click it to run. took away Puppys' ability to change it?
I found it in 2 places in rc.update and commented out both.

Sorry if this has been asked (or solved) :oops: but I can't figure out how to stop the menu in JWM from returning to its' previous state. I learned how to add a few custom items like XRick, XSok, Descent2, Synfig, etc. and change "Fun" to "Games" in .jwmrc. I did this as they did...
