Thank you for responding.Semme wrote:Maybe my directions weren't clear? Otherwise, I'd say you want the method described on page 12.
Ok. I see this and what it's about. I have no idea where to get "isobooter.tar.gz". I know it is not much in number of files and that's it.

Alright, when I go back into Gparted, I get the message that I have to create a Partition table and I do this with MSDOS. Then, I create a primary partition in GParted ext4 format. That appears OK and I am not getting 3 or 4 extra drive mountings for the USB. When I opened puppy installer and checke...

Now it mounts as a CDROM drive to another laptop! At least Bootflash is still on that laptop that I installed BionicPup32 on. That laptop screams after I took dielectric grease and applied to all connections taking care to thoroughly wipe all off, and still leaving a residue and not cross continuity...

Problem installing TahrPup64 to USB
I have installed TahrPup64 repeatedly to delireum and the Bootflash either disappears or is gone. I have the puppy installer and maybe that's the same and IDK. The real problem is that in creating a bootable USB with either a FAT32 or ext4 file system for other pups, the TahrPup64 tells me to unmoun...

Ok not happening. I don't care about bluetooth anymore because my sound is getting turned off and no matter how many times I reinstall BionicPup64 and I am not seeing it in the above links. At least not yet. Trying to get Janky to do anything is like pulling teeth. I get a response from the command ...

Puppy Linux 64x 8.0 -- which I take to mean Bionicpup64_8.0. Always specify which Puppy. I won't frighten you with the number of Puppies published in over a decade. But they are all different, available and someone's likely to still run them. Currently there are about 30 active versions. Each has i...

Yeah, when I type in: apt-get install bluetooth I am not quite sure how the cd works for sub-directory change. I get command not found. FYI, i was die-hard DOS in the past and I am making some subtle connections like with Grub. This appears to be some type of path issue I think. I have looked in dir...

Hi FriendlyIce, Every Puppy will happily 'live' exclusively on a USB-Stick, booting from it, saving data files and changes back to it, totally ignoring --if you want-- the existence of the hard-drives of the computer into which the USB-Stick was plugged and booted. And with an 'old' --at least for ...
