Hi TLM I Burned the iso to cd . I've been testing it out . it boots smoothly .

Runs nice and smooth too. I don't see its size as a handicap at all . I think it will be a great puppy ! Can't wait to see more .

hi elraven here :) i just wanted to say that Akita is running super smooth and fast on my olf compaq presario sr1103wm :) I'm running it with 512megs ram and a 514 meg swap file. I love this and am seriously thinking of making it my main os . thanks and keep up the good work Scott. elraven 8)

never mind I found an answer . I changed the direction of the desktop icon for terminal from lxterminal to urxvt and solved my problem .

I love the clear look of the terminal window , but i have a problem. It takes up the entire screen . Is there a way to re size it ? I've tried right clicking at the very top but the resize option is not present . Any help is welcome .

hi all i've been trying midnight sun pup , and its doing good. I've no problems so far other than firefox , but i found something that works. I installed firefox 5.0b2 lucid pet over the other firefox. It worked ,firefox pops up when called for . Hope this helps . Well back to my new puppy...

i've been watching reboot ,poweroff, and the savefile since your post. So far they are working as expected. Reboot and power off offer no surprises. Saving to the save file also does its job flawlessly. That's it so far.

i'm using 027rc1 now. First boot went smooth ,sound ,and network came up without problems. I have even tried burniso2cd and it ran with no problems. It looks real good and i'm pleased with it. Good work Grump wolfe ,and i hope things are going well with you.

It seems that burniso2cd is having a problem. It doesn't burn anything. I watch my cd drive door close and a second or two later it pops open ! The program then asks if i'd like check it. My first thought is "Check what ya ain't done nothing yet silly thing." Otherswise 024 is in fine shap...

I think your right to forgo automount . Pmount is good and stable , so stick with that for time being. Things will improve with time , and i'm sure you have lots of ideas you'd like to work on. Sounds good so far .
