have you tried adjusting the alsa mixer settings for your line in and mic inputs? enter "alsamixer" in a terminal and try adjusting these settings. BTW you can access the mixer from the menu as well , go menu | multimedia | alsamixer. I hope that hels you out a bit.

I think once you DL the lpr driver for your printer model, unzip using either un-rpm or un-deb dot-pups available elsewhere in this forum, then DL the cups wrapper and unzip that using the same method. I hope that helps some if any. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong please.

Yes I have noticed Gxine freezes midway through mp3s, not always the first file, and some online video content . I have to go into process manager and shut down the process manually before I can restart it. I'm using Puppy 3.01 frugal install on k7som+, AMD Duron 1.4, 1 gig ram.
