Hi Brian,

I've been away for a little while, but I'm working on something that will assist other programmers to accomplish something very similar. I'm still going through tons of messages, but I'll be back on the project in the very near future.

Someone dropped "Megapup2.txt" and "Megapuppy002.txt" to my ftp server. I copied it to "readme.txt" in the megapuppy directory listed above. THANKS!

I'd gladly turn over the wiki pages I have on USB to someone more knowledgable who is willing to work on them. I try my best with what I know. :) One problem to consider with the USB 1.1 ports is that it takes longer to transfer the files from the drive to the system than it does with USB 2.0 ports....

Hallo Enrico, Willkommen zu Puppy Linux! :) As you can see by the discussion in this thread and others, Puppy is efficient and lean. Smaller is better. I would be interested in Mark's review of your program after you have made it as small as you think is possible without breaking it. Yes, a link to ...

Mark,

Here are a few examples: http://www.geeks.com/products_sc.asp?cat=373

I made a few noises during the Foundation meeting when the topic of encryption (XOR) came up. I see XOR as a way to keep honest people honest. The average Windows user won't know how to "break" the XOR setup. I also agree that it is about as secure as taping your password to the bottom of ...

So I can run it just some minutes to backup files, then must break.
My fan died too, instead of spending US$200 to get it fixed, I bought a cooler pad. Its been working like a charm.
