Xenialpup64 7.5 Zoom Working
I'm running Xenialpup64 7.5 on an Intel CORE I5 based computer with 8GB of RAM. We had a family meeting today for Mother's Day. The Zoom conference details were emailed to me. I ran the website version from Google Chrome, and it works but it kept crashing. I then tried to use both my landline teleph...

I don't remember, but you've just replied to a post I made in the Spring of 2019.bigpup wrote:... are you using the development version? ... Xenialpup64 7.5 ...had to refresh Xenial64v7.0.8 on my
laptop. So I am reinstalling my packages.
I'm using 7.5 now, and VLC still won't work in the system, though.

How to use Openoffice.org suite in Tahr6.0.6-k4.1.3.0-uefi?
I'm one of those people who disdain both 'LibreOffice' and 'Abiword'. If given a choice, I'll put up with Abiword, but OpenOffice (to me) is SO much better. Why doesn't Puppy agree with me? That was kind of rhetorical. I downloaded the current version: https://i.postimg.cc/QBnCYdCW/2020-04-02-1009-5...

Openshot Won't Run in Xenialpup64
I think I figured out a solution, at least temporarily. I had an old distribution of Puppy, Tahr6.0.6-k4.1.3.0-uefi-frugal with a kernal: Linux 4.1.30 (i686). Openshot runs here!! I just booted this up and openshot sure runs in the environment. The help screen shows it's version 1.4.3. Screenshot be...

... a hint where to start ... I had this issue as well, and you may simply have a case of resetting the Retrovol control panel; Make sure the 'auto-mute' setting is disabled.
