This is indeed interesting.
Being so controversial, I wonder whether new Puppy derivatives should include it in their next versions...

ClamAv reports a malware in /usr/local/bin/pnscan
As the title says, Clam Antivirus (32 bit version) reports: /usr/local/bin/pnscan: Unix.Malware.Agent-7186126-0 FOUND. It was reported on PuppyTahr v.6.0.5 (32-bit). This may only be a false positive, but it would be interresting to investigate further... Can anyone else check this on either the 32/...

@vovchik
Dear fellow from Ukraine,
I see the screenshot you posted earlier.
Where does this script or program 'Font Preview'
come from?
I prefer this layout as I too, wish to see
more than one language set.

sfs_load
Sorry for my late reply, I was away from home for a week in the country and left my laptop bag in the garage. I tried loading sfs and unloading again without compiling in between, and found that the extra directories in the /usr/share/doc directory were still there... but rebooting right afte...

sfs_load issues
OS=PuppTahr 6.0.5 PUPMODE=12 When I need to compile some src packages, I load the corresponding devx SFS package with sfs_load. Once done, I unload the devx with the same script. My issue is that it leaves a lot of directories and files in the /usr/share/doc (and maybe at other places too...) which ...

Hi, Maybe we are looking at this the wrong way... What if we turn their advantage against them by creating cloned profiles of us with contrary/fake information. Could that be done? If we can, we would flood them with confusing info. I use startpage.com for my in-browser searches. I think they live u...

@6502coder, Super Awsome. Exactly what i was looking for. BTW, you are an excellent problem solver. I'll take the week in my spare time to analyze it thouroughly :D Once i get it all, i'll make some kind of template to merge the info to some final presentation format. With the dates all figured out,...

@MochiMoppel Thanks for pointing that out. After checking back on the 2019 calendar year, i can see why i said week 6. %V is said to start weeks on Mondays. If you check on January 2019, we find that the 1st falls on a Tuesday, thus making Feb. 11, 2019 equal to week 6 while in reality it is week 7....

Hi some1 and fabrice, Q: Can you have more tenants per floor - than those enrolled to work? If so - we need a creteria/filter to extract the doers from the tenants.csv-file. Yes, we do have more tenants but they are not capable of doing the job due to old age or handicaps. But i have a csv list of n...

How to create a cleaning roster with Bash?
I have to create a cleaning roster for an appartment building and would like to automate it with GNU bash if possible. Requirements : The tenants have to clean the corridor on their floor every week. The cycle starts on Feb. 11, 2019 and lasts for 30 weeks (10x3). There are 4 floors to my building. ...
