The xrandr variant works perfectly. Then I adapted your script to a working "slideshow" for xplanet which is a great app with many config options (scripts named xplanet1, xplanet2 and so on). Now I am trying to combine the commands with killing the previous xplanet 1) killall xplanet;xplan...

Thanks jafadmin I think your first script might help, but I'm halfway. How would it precisely look if: The first executing the script opens e.g. roxfiler Second kills roxfiler and opens geany Third kills geany and opens leafpad Fourth kills leafpad and opens again roxfiler or for display rotating: 1...

Looking for script to execute commands in a loop [Solved]

I need a script which would execute several commands one by one in a circle with still the same keystroke. Similar to Rox when pressing repeatedtly "Sort by...". I am sure there are many hints on the web, but I canˇt find the right one.

Has anyone tried to run pastie in xenialpup64?

I managed to run and make .sfs files of some slightly problematic python-based apps (gramps, photocollage), but can't start one of the recommended lightweight clipboard managers pastie https://launchpad.net/~evjrob/+archive/ubuntu/pastie/+packages Every attempt ends with various no module named... SSD-troubles with grubs

I have some remastered 64puppies on my hdd that never failed via Grub2 . Recently I bought my first SSD Kingston A400 240GB and the troubles began. Attempts to grub-install grub2 to the ssd always end with "Could not find device for /boot: Not found or not a block device". So I moved the f...

Losslesscut is also meant as a lossless audio cutter. But there is one strange in it, it has language .pak files, but you can't switch to them.

I have found an interestic idea "AutoUnload SFS" http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=82762&start=15 for those who don't like lots of loaded .sfs files within a session. I have managed to adapt successfully his last "simple-run-script-d.gz" for many sfs files. It load...

It is very easy to make your own appimage of an app that can be run from the extracted .deb or .rpm - main browsers Firefox, Chrome and all their derivates, Vivaldi, Thunderbird, Kompozer, Googleearth and many others. Often you can even copy the content of an opened appimage in /tmp to a new folder....

Hi, Escucha the link to vlc 2.2.8 is https://github.com/darealshinji/vlc-AppImage/releases (the first link in my previous post). It's not that hard to make the changes to the extracted appimage - the AppDir (its default name is "squash-root" but you can rename it) in /root. There's a file ...

Hi Hesse James, used your new xenial64 304.135 nvidia driver and shortly tested. As expected, screen freezing (especially with mpv and vivaldi) has stopped, which is very good. So far I detected negative differences using some appimages: Qupzilla appimage (from their official site) with nouveau star...
