Has anyone tried to run pastie in xenialpup64?
I managed to run and make .sfs files of some slightly problematic python-based apps (gramps, photocollage), but can't start one of the recommended lightweight clipboard managers pastie https://launchpad.net/~evjrob/+archive/ubuntu/pastie/+packages Every attempt ends with various no module named... It is very easy to make your own appimage of an app that can be run from the extracted .deb or .rpm - main browsers Firefox, Chrome and all their derivates, Vivaldi, Thunderbird, Kompozer, Googleearth and many others. Often you can even copy the content of an opened appimage in /tmp to a new folder....

Initially, I made my own vlc.sfs, now I use appimages from https://github.com/darealshinji/vlc-AppImage/releases or https://bintray.com/probono/AppImages/VLC#files However, unlike most of the appimages on these extensive lists vlc needs to be modifed for root use: Extract the appimage using the comm...

So far I detected negative differences using some appimages: Qupzilla appimage (from their official site) with nouveau star...
