ok I'm now tring Legacy OS 2.1 LTS and it doesn't have the driver. I have the pet file for the driver but don't know how to use it. I'm tring to get a TL-WN722N to work. this is the pet file I have ath9k_htc

where does a exe file goes after it's loaded?

I'm tring to add a fan control program to my dell laptop. I've used wine and everything acts like it installs,but there is nothing on the desktop. I'm using 3headed dog.

sorry didn't mean to get anyone upset. Just tring to learn. I have lupu3hd 5.2.8.7. I'm installing it on a dell inspiron 1000. It is a 2.2 celeron,256 ram going to try to upgrade another gig. the xorgwizard worked but do I have to go through it every time? typing xwin worked also. still same question. do I have to do this every time?

I'm stuck. I've gone through the whole first page. Now when I boot and load the hard drive it loads and stops at a # and that's it. I mean I boot to the grub screen then hit enter on the linux drive and it load through some things and stop with a #

ok everything is on and working again. I used the sns setup for wifi. I know this is the wrong place for it,but how to you make it bootable after making the 2 partions? I tried the grub bootloader config,but when I put in /dev/hda1 it tells me it's not linux

Yes I partititoned and formated the hardrive with gparted and I used ext3. I must have a video problem now. The computer did have xp on it before wipe. I also added the swap partition and made that linux swap. I don't know how to do grub.

Sorry I'll have to look. I have another problem now anyway. I wiped the hard drive to fully install it and I have nothing on the screen but the bottom line
