Puppy 4.00 & Intel Wireless 3945
Hi, I've just downloaded puppy 4.00 and I was trying to get wireless internet working. I ran the Puppy network wizard and clicked on eth1 which is says is my wireless card. It has loaded the ipw3945 module for it. I then get the "configure network interface eth1" dialog. I click on wireles...

I'm not sure I quite understand what you're saying. If I use PupWinQE will I have a version of of puppy that can be run inside other operating systems as well as being able to use it to boot? Based on the instructions for a bootable usb stick and the descriptiong of how PupWinQe works, it looks like...

How to update QEMU-puppy 2.17 to 4.0?
Hi, I've been playing with puppy for a little bit now and I stumbled across this site http://www.erikveen.dds.nl/qemupuppy/ which allows you to either boot a flash drive version of puppy OR run puppy (in qemu) on a computer that's already on. The version on the website is for puppy 2.17. I wanted to...

Bootable USB flash drive using ext3 instead of FAT?
I read that it would be better to make my entire usb flash drive ext3 because then the whole drive would be availabe to save my files to. But when I format the drive as ext 3 and then run the universal installer there is an error when trying to mount /dev/etc on /mnt/ or something like that. Is this...

Puppy on USB Flash partition?
I don't know if this is possible, I've searched these forums and the wiki, and I've just tried to do it but it won't work. I want to partition my usb flash drive so that puppy and all of its files are in one partition and my files are kept in the other (hopefully bigger) partition. I am using puppy-...

SOLVED: Compiling c/c++ in puppy v2.12
The method I have found repeated in lots of places for doing this is to find the devx_212.sys file and download it to (as I am using a usb boot) /mnt/home (where the pup_save.3fs is) and then reboot. Having done this, I find that I am unable to compile anything. I get the error message: gcc: command...

SOLVED: Setting a Mouse to Left handed?
As a left handed user I am used to setting my mouse with the buttons reversed. However this option does not appear in the mouse setup from the puppy wizards. Is there a way to do this? or is it something that I should request as a new feature?

FIXED - Problems creating a bootable USB Flash Drive
Hi there, I have just purchased a 2gb usb flash drive and thought that I would install Puppy linux on it so that I can take puppy with me. But when I tried to use the universal installer, there were some error messages during the installation that seemed to be ignored. On completion of the installat...
