Good news: FF loads after restarting again+again. So you could just as well eliminate this thread.

I think it's a bug. On 2 totally different pc's I run Puppy4 from a USB stick. I installed FF and saved everything I could. I see FF in the menu. But it doesn't start, after clicking, nothing happens. SeaMonkey starts effortlessly. With Puppy3, that I ran until yesterday, this problem didn't exist. ...

Serendipity in LinuxLand leads to Puppy
I tried a few puppies before, they came and left again. Woof. Almost impossible to install. But this one installed easily and is therefor to stay and to be tried further. I' m running this on a Asus K8 Sempron2600+ integrated ATI/VIA video graphics (often a sore!). Actual competition: PClinuxOS 2007...

Installing was stalled by video problems I was never aware off. Thát is not the problem. I look for Slackware with OpenOffice up-to-date, Kopete and FF 2.0.

I finally succeeded installing Puppy. WafWaf and Woef. I got a load of software I will never use, and software I use everyday, like FF2 and Kopete, are even not available nor instalable.
