Under Ubuntu_Mate, I got the card receiving TV channels. MeTV is picking up about 20 channels out of about 60 available. Looking to get a better antenna than the 16 inch one I have now. It's just a simple antenna you would have on a radio. I would like to get tvdeadhead compiled and see how it does.

I do not think tvheadend would work.

Four other players have failed to find channels or do not see the tuner card.
Though lsusb sees the card.

No available device from Kaffeine.

Tuner card may be un-usable. :-(

Thanks April for responding. The reason why your code failed is because you have to use thunar customized actions for it to work. Thunar is in the Puppy Package Manager. This is what I ended up with. zip -u -j %n.zip %F %F is the selected file(s) %n is name of first selected file -j does not zip up ...

Has sound worked in other Puppies? Do they show a card 0?
Card 0 was for HDMI which is not hooked up.

Sound is provided by line out going to some external speakers and amp.

How to change color of font in grub menu?

Apparently the writers of grub were rocket scientists. :-) I simply want to change the default colors for the grub menu. I am using Ubuntu_Mate. I consulted the latest tutorials, but am having no luck in changing the colors. Can some rocket scientist please help me ? :-) Andy File name -> 05_debian_...
