Script did not create the .iso anymore, at all. Couldn't burn to usb as it asks for the iso file. if the iso fails you can do all the steps i did posted above. Stemsees program is useful with workarounds and I apologize for any complaining. Just dont see why someone doesnt make something like remas...

I got StemseeS to work 99% for a remaster of my system by the SFS remaster and then dragging the SFS with the basic boot-time files and using k3B in Linuxmint to create an .iso and then using LinuxLive USB Creator in windows to write to USB, and from there a USB Duplicator can render from the USB a ...

I love using firefox portable within Puppy Linux because there will never be up to date .pets to install recent versions, and because the portable seems to be able to update its self well TIPS: Even though puppy linux runs on a RAM disk, we run our firefox outside of puppy, on the USB actual-free sp...

This sucks, I cant place actual files on the desktop at all, only shortcuts to those files. And judging from the long first-reply in this thread, there is no way to get an actual file on the desktop, nor any actual folder in the file system that is the desktop. for a custom remaster distribution of ...

Thanks for your work. :) just boot into another OS, then copy your save file somewhere else, and if your USB gets screwed up, boot back in the altern...

Did you guys know that the Abandonware called Remastersys still works as of linuxmint 17.1 to remaster it and make a remastered bootable iso with persistence? I really wish that when we make Linux Mint USBs it would allow Copy to Ram as an option. As far as i know the one big OS that would have copy...

puppylinux is brilliant -- and with an option to have a save or no save dialog box for EVERY shut down, in addition to the save icon on desktop, its like the same as having a word document open and saving anytime or gettting a save or no save dialog box when you exit, only with an entire OS. Why not...

permanent pfix=ram
what file is it that I edit if I want it to do pfix=ram each & every time, without manually typing it? Thanks. why isnt there something like a pfix=ram2 or pfix=nosave that will load save files initially, but then not write to them for that session, so someone can just use that instead of remast...
