I removed the redirect and re-enabled the HTTP version. So it should work with plain HTTP now or with HTTPS, though some browsers may have the redirect cached.
I guess I should have spent more on the certificate. I got it mostly for email, so I can't complain too much.

It appears that rox controls the background when displaying icons on the desktop even if you don't have a background set, in which case rox will set the background to a (configurable) solid color. I don't know if there's a way to change that behavior, so I guess the easiest solution is to have rox c...

Argolance: JWM now makes maximized windows take up the full screen. It used to leave the borders, which would allow you to click behind the window despite it being fullscreen. As far as the background thing goes, there have been changes to how JWM handles the background. It should actually play nice...

Argolance: I wouldn't worry too much about the debug output from JWM unless there is a lot of it or it happens along with something else. There are some fairly benign things that can cause JWM to report errors (for example, JWM sending a message to a window that has just gone away). I did fix the &q...

saintless: As far as icons in JWM are concerned, JWM 2.2.1 should support all of the formats as JWM 2.1 and more. When compiling you need to have the *-dev libraries installed for JWM to use the libraries. There was an issue where JWM didn't support XBM icons (not XPM, which JWM has always supported...

@Argolance: As SFR mentioned, JWM now (as of snapshot 848) uses the same icon rendering code for window buttons as it uses for everything else, so you can use PNG icons etc. Unfortunately, xbm icons won't work anymore. I'll open an issue to address that (I think it would be cool to support xbm icons...

recobayu, There's no direct way to have JWM show the desktop from the command line right now. Other X programs can tell JWM to show the desktop (as well as other things) using the EWMH, so it would be possible to have a separate program that just communicated with the existing version of JWM. Such a...

Karl, Thanks for reporting the bug. I'm able to reproduce the virtual desktop issue and should have a fix shortly. I'm not sure what the deal with the swallowed application issue is, is there a difference in the configuration that's causing that? Please keep me informed of any bugs, I can't fix them...
