I think you guys have missed ONE MAJOR limitation of OPENMosix. The limitation is that while it is clusterable, it can't provide parallisation of programs that don't spawn multiple processes. Eg. Nice work on the TeenPup!
If I could just suggest that when you click the connect icon that the Internet connection wizard comes up instead of the dialer app (GKdial? I can't remember its name sorry).

Right so I changed my monitor believeing that the probing off refresh rates was the issue which it was. So JVM is starting fine. This is happening on a Live CD - PURE 2.12! No Upgrade or anything.

I think its missing libaries - maybe fetch on demand isn't working right????

PS I checked the md5sum of the image i downloaded and its OK
