I find the frugal install to be marginally quicker but the great advantage of a frugal is that if you screw it up you can recover your system simply by copying a backup of your pup_save file over the screwed up one, provided you have made a backup of course.

Sorted - Comix is up and running in Muppy07. First I installed comix_3.6-1_all.deb from http://packages.debian.org/testing/x11/comix using the debian installer. Then pygtk and pygobject using Gslapt. Sorry if it's a silly question but how do I install good old-fashioned dotpups? Specifically the synaptics touchpad driver.
