I've found the package at:
ftp://ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributio ... b-3.01.pet
but my question is still pending
Are the above instructions still valid for puppy 3.01?
Just to make sure someone has already used them on puppy 3.01.
Thanks again

Muggins, I've made an additional test: I've just rebooted my machine with my actual pup_save file and the CrowAmp runs properly. Maybe the reboot is a MUST procedure after its installation. Anyway the program is great. I will just check if the program will still run after the screensaver execution. ...

Hi muggins, I did a little different than you'd suggested: I've booted my system from CD (puppy 3.01) with pfix=ram. I've just installed the CrowAmp .pet and it worked. Maybe I have a package overloading something on my pup_save file that do not allow crowamp to run. I'll investigate a little more. ...

Sorry guys,
I think I've provided a wrong link.
The correct one for 3.01 as "mmm" has suggested is:
ftp://ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributio ... packages-2
Sorry again,
kkpity
