Might be, but this last time I looked there and did not see it, tho it may be there in text only, no actual box. Time may come I'll have to. They keep messing with the web and forcing obsolescence I'll just learn to live without FB and YouTube (no sound in FF Light).

@XP Refugee: 27.0.3 was released December 16th. I guess the fix will be in whatever version they upload next (27.1 ?). I've tried installing that twice and each time there was NO ADDRESS BOX. If it were up to me I'd have stuck with yahoo, but their messenger turned into a stinking mess years ago....

it has no controls. Audio came out of the tiny laptop speakers and NO WAY could I get it to come out of the external speaker or find a way to switch it. It also took out audio in Pmusic, which I'll stick with for the time being.

thanks Bob for that GREAT bit of info. Worked just fine. The devs are boneheads then as it's only one line and makes a WORLD of difference. Stuff like this is why the masses still use IE.

as to the FB problem, upgraded to 27 and the problem continues. Huge lag. Not happy.

Could find NOTHING poking ALL around /sys. But I did end up poking around /root/config./lxsession/LXDE and low and behold in desktop config I FOUND IT !!!!! I now have it set at 7 and 3 threshold. Survived restarting window manager. I figure it'll survive a reboot :) tho the tip did not lead me righ...

thinks, this is a solid lead. Up til now it appeared *I* was the only one having this problem. I'll tinker with things a bit and see what happens. I'd love to put an end to resetting it every boot up.
