Sorry to confuse you, even slightly... ASUS 1000HEB is a kind of Eee PC. I have a few Windows apps that demand that I do not switch and I am too lazy to put out effort to get Wine to work... Also: truth does not always have to hurt. Truth can be kind words too ;) FWIW, my first exposure to Puppy Li...

Yes that is what is needed. FULL install on ext2.

The saved version Burn-IT could refer to thinking you have a FRUGAL install.

I am afraid your FULL install is corrupted to a point you have to re-install.

There are WindowManagers like e16 and e17.
I am trying out dpup-guy 5.0.1 which uses exclusively e2 as file manager.
I wondered also about the equivalent of 'set run action', but didn't find it yet.
For the moment I use 'open with'

pupmode=7 might not be known to everybody.
I just learned about it.
In fact few people would know about pupmode 5, 77, 12, 13 etc...
So if you want good answers, you better had said, FRUGAL install to USB flash and saving to partition.

I think you'll get a better response from the developer of XFCE+Compiz
In this aspect your title is misleading and should reflect XFCE+Compiz

If you're going to mislabel something, why not call it something funny - at least people will realize it's not a description. If I go anywhere in the world and ask someone if they'd like ...

thkn777,
You have always to tell what type of install you have/how you run.
