Single GPU vs Crossfire

I'm thinking about setting up my system using crossfire but wondering what the advantage is when one slot is only PCIe x8 compared to one gpu using the x16 slot. I will be using identical cards.

I tried installing e17 "enlightenment" and gave me a problem. Had a hard time getting back to jwm. I haven't tried XFCE so couldn't tell you.

Have you tried puppy package manager

I would recommend checking out puppy distros that are already using XFCE. Carolina is one of them.

Personal storage is already set to 2GB and I'm not sure about resi...

Wow. That pet file worked. connected at 150 Mbps. Thanks a lot rcrsn51. It's funny how it works on one but not on another. A small headache to pay though for the wonderful world of linux.

Thanks again.

Also, try the suggestions on this site: http://www.unix.com/unix-for-advanced-a ... -vga1.html. It might do the trick

I am using precise 5.7.1 and have installed a working Dell 1700n printer via USB and can print. I then downloaded samba-4.0-9-precise.sfs to share the printer. Entering the command "smbclient -U% -L localhost" gives me the folloring output: Domain=[WORKGROUP] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 4.0.9]...

I am using Precise 5.7.1 and have a triple screen setup. I've been trying to figure out how to place the taskbar on my middle screen instead of it being on the left but have not found a solution yet. Hi starhawk - I tried searching for your firmware but unfortunately, Canon's Website didn't have it. They only had drivers for Windows 95 and Windows 98 but NO firmware. If you want to download the driver and look maybe they had the firmware bundled on the package, you can try. Here is the link: htt...
