Bonjour, Am I the only one who hasn't been able to update the flash player for some time? Cordialement. You're not alone. Fortunately, Flash isn't important to me anymore. I would like to be able to delete all the flash update files, but some persist anyway. Several minutes after starting FF...

Ant video downloader add on for Firefox
The Ant video downloader came in my upgrade of Firefox to the 60.4.0esr in the Salixesr from the package manager in Slacko 6.3.0 32bit. It requires the native app which I downloaded, but I don't know how to install it.
Any help would be much appreciated.

installing Libreoffice in Slacko 6.3.0 32
I downloaded Libreoffice last night, and had to just let it run in the background because it's a large transfer. Now, I don't know where it is, it doesn't appear to be in downloads, and I don't know if it's in the form of a pet or what. My o/s is a full install of slacko 6.3.0 32 bit version. I'm us...

How to open pdf files in email (Thunderbird)?
When trying to open pdf files in an email (Thunderbird)the window pops up to choose how to open, with a browse button. How do I select how to open the pdf file to view? I apologize for the bother, but I was in an accident and had a slight head injury, so most of my knowledge of how to use my slacko ...

As a user report, on a HD installation to a Lenovo vista machine, after a few uses, shut down now reboots instead of powering off. No significant changes were made, only a customization of FF, installation of xine and thunderbird, and the attendant changes to default email and media player in setup.

I'm glad to have found this for my older PC and laptop, both IBM/Lenovo, and a later Dell laptop, all of which liked the original Slacko 5.7 . The PC had Slacko 5.7 32 and ran well, but the FF didn't work well on current sites. I intend HD installs of this latest Slacko to see if those machines can ...

Thanks, Mike. I've been around here for awhile, and had learned a few things, but I was in a car crash and got a head injury, and also lost much use of my left arm and leg. I don't remember some things and have trouble with the keyboard as well, so clicking is easier for me. I'm kind of stuck using p...
