Upto the chat bot, this is my attempt at a STT system, for free dictation.
A) sound to digital code.
B) use the code to address an over sized data base.
C) the data base returns groups of ascii codes.
D) a spell checker assembles the words.

Not exactly but it should be easier than a normal chat bot English in and meaningful English answers out

solved sort of

i thank you for the help and appologize for being so slow in doing so.
i tried the up date recomended, but it did not work. i think the reason was that i have a different tv card than the one my pc thinks it has.

i installed xbmc and got my backup uk tv that way, and a lot more besides.
