I had a similar problem in the past after updating a rolling release ISO.

sudo mhwd-gpu --setgl catalyst

Sounds like Graphics driver configuration issue or not installed correctly.

Why are downloads not in sdb1/Download?

I've lost count on how many times I've downloaded a file to have it missing from the Download Directory: (sdb1/Download)

What is causing this?

Possible issue with JWM: Adding Tray Buttons

Menu > Utility > PuppyControl Panel > Desktop > Windows Manager Settings > Tray Buttons > ADD

Unable to ADD 'Tray Button'
the SELECT ICON not working, and manually populating the field does not save.

Macpup 5.2.8 v2 - works on just about anything.

My current interest is with Debian 7.2 and choose Wheezy as my primary OS.
