Hi Mike... With the icons and things like that, I think the difference there is creating something that is similar to varying degrees to another product, like breakfast cereal, for instance. One example: Froot Loops. There's the (I'm guessing) original product here and another version of it from ano...

The Penguin wireless adapter you mentioned is $31.92 on eBay including shipping. There is also this with the same chipset for $11.98 including shipping. I still haven't ordered anything as I'm debating whether to buy an adapter and battery for this old Dell Inspiron 1100 or just chuck it. Hi... You...

Hi all... I would encourage those who are using this software or are considering using it to check with Google to ensure it does not violate the terms of their EULA, specifically regarding distribution. As some of you may know and as I understand it, the Pepper API has not been released under the GP...

But on the other hand its see a need, fill a need which GNU bunnies seem to have a problem with when its 'not ethical'. Barry used to include flashplayer until it bloated...no one complained...in fact it was seen as a bonus. Are we computer users and system tweakers or guardians of the ark? Does th...

Hi ort cloud... Part of the issue with this is that Adobe stopped developing standalone versions of Flash Player (for Linux) after 11.2, I'm surprised no one was receiving these error messages with 10.3. The only way to get newer releases of Flash (Pepper version) now is to use current releases of C...

Hi... Could you open a terminal and post the results of this command... lspci -nnk | grep -i net -A2 This will give us an idea of what wireless adapter and driver you're using. :) Here is a page that gives instructions on copying and pasting in Puppy's terminal. As an idea, you could give thi...

Hi.... Welcome to the forum :) I personally would recommend a newer version of Puppy, if at all possible. 2.14 is pretty old and I highly doubt you'll find any (newer) software that will run on it. Try using something like Precise 5.6.1 or 5.7.1, Slacko 5.7 or even Tahr Puppy 6.0.2, if it will run s...

Check out rcrsn51's guide here. Hopefully, that will get you going.

Hi mgolden...
It's a bit more expensive but this adapter worked "out of the box" for me with Precise 5.6.1, although I'm not entirely sure if Slacko (I'm guessing is what you're using) will support it.

What EULA would Jesus use? Hi... Interesting question. :) My personal guess, in part, from what (Salvation) he offers to all of us, is to to yield and surrender your life to Him and walk with Him and obey Him in the things He would want to teach you and remove in your life, as found in His Word, th...
