initrd.gz not found at Boot, but it's there
I'm using Lupu 5.2.8 and I keep getting this error message when booting. Luckily I have a Slacko install too so I can still talk to you.
When I investigate the Lupu folder initrd.gz is there, so I'm somewhat puzzled.
Also while I'm here, how do I delete old installations of Puppy?

Thanks for the help chaps. As a Linux newbie I was puzzled the programmes I initiated weren't doing anything so far as I could tell. I've tried a couple of distros so far now and think of myself as reasonably savvy but this one had me beat. I would add though that the only thing that works for me is...

[SOLVED]How to use Generic USB Joypad with Arcade 8 in Puppy
I'm having an absolute nightmare trying to get my generic ebay USB gamepad/joypad to work in Lucid 5.2.8 with Puppy Arcade 8. I've tried various joystick calibration tools such as JSCallibrate, QJoypad etc to no avail. I've no idea what the make and model is but it's a generic Playstation 2 type rip...

Thanks ally. I'm trying it as we speak. GParted has been reading the device for some time now but I suppose that's to be expected for a 64GB drive over USB. Maybe you could help with this; the reason I'm trying to format it is that I copied some files over this afternoon which apparently failed and ...

This hasn't been working to well for me. I copied the contents of the ISO to a folder in my C:\ drive and ran Grub4Dos which means I can boot into PuppyArcade fine but once I'm in hardly any programmes want to run apart form the emulators. I also never got a setup screen :? just a guess, but do you...
