screen problems
Have installed Precise Puppy 5.7.1 (retro) on sister-inlaw's desktop but the screen is slightly distorted with lines running through it. Could someone tell me how i might remedy this please.

Rotten ISP
Having installed Precise Puppy 5.7.1 (retro) on my sister-in-law's desktop she eagerly awaited going online for the first time. Only to be disappointed by her ISP, BT (British Telecom) when they informed her that they didn't support Linux. What a pack of time wasters they are.

How to eliminate code display as Puppy loads?
I have installed Precise Puppy 5.7.1 and its great! Although i do have an awful lot to learn. When Precise Puppy is loading a lot of code appears on the screen. Is there anyway to get rid of this code? Thanks

How to display web pages burnt to a cd?
I created some html web pages and burnt them to a cd prior to installing Precise Puppy 5.7.1. Could someone please tell me how i might extract them from the cd and then save them to a new folder. Thanks

Hi I have tried all the suggestions without any luck so far. I went to Puppy Package Manager and was unable to find (Retrovol). DVD sound too low in GNOME MPlayer
Tried out GNOME MPayer to watch a dvd and it worked great! The only problem i found was the sound. Could barely hear the dvd even though i had the volume set at an 100% via the Taskbar.
Had a look at the ALSA sound Wizard but couldn't find out where i might increase the volume?

What is a SaveFile?
Prior to doing a full install of Precise Puppy 5.7.1 could someone explain what is the "savefile" and what i should do with it. Sounds a bit silly i know but i want to get everything right during the install.
