Dont ask for much, just want a stable wireless/internet connection to look at my emails and check Google out, the ability to write a letter and...

Hello. On my computer the key that swiches the wireless mode On and Off is the F2 button, although you dont have to use the function (Fn) key to use it. Has a little picture on the key, which I believe is of an Aerial mast, if you use a bit of immagination! This only works under Windows. I think to ...

Hello. I am using a Dell Inspiron 1545. One of my keyboard keys switches my wireless card On and Off. What would appear to be happening under my Lucid start up is that somehow that is also switching off my my wireless card, so that I am left with no wireless connectivity. If I should do a restart of...

Hi. Thanks for help in trying to get scanner to work. Have now given up getting it to work. Looking at all the linux pages using Google it is obvious that this is a problem that is very common. Even in the instructions that came with the printer for Windows usage, they dont give much information for...

Model I selected was HP Deskjet Series (EN) only because the HP3070A is part of the B611 series! In fact I think they all work for printing but not the scanning. Peasyscan image scanner just says No Scanner Detected. There is a lot on different Linux pages about not being able to get this scanner to...

Tried running printer directly connected using USB. Computer does not even detect I have anything connected to it. The driver I was trying was the hplip-scan-3.12.10a from the packet manager, which is why I went of topic and asked my other question regarding the downloading from the package manager....

USB Drive
Hello. Sorry if this is and odd question, but wondered what was the best USB memory size for linux Puppy. Sure I read somewhere that too much memory can cause some problems. Was looking at 16GB only because this was the only size in stock for the type I was looking for.
Thanks.
Thanks.
