PyPar2 (slacko)

Hi puppies!
Since I am using par2 files a lot I would love to have working PyPar2 in Slacko. I have tried installing it using debs and installed a lot of dependencies but I get a lot of issues with it. What I now hope is that someone has a pet or an easy solution to make Pypar2 work. Regards.

I am still trying to get the swedish keymap to work at startup but sv-latin1 does not seem to work. Maybe "se" will work better? Then theres the problem with the clock too but I guess it is really my fault and that I am to much of a noob to be able to handle Arch/Openbox. By the way, how c...

Thank you forthis really fast and responsive distro. I have two questions though. Can you include a better wireless manager that actually tries to connect and could someone give a short guide explaining how to install and use another desktop environment? Regards.

I removed the saved file and now it all seems a lot faster. I had downloading a lot of useless stuff that might have started picking on Precise Puppy somehow. I guess the indexing service came from the KDE package I tried wishing that I could change X Desktop. Regards.

There is a lot of programs that do not load. A few of them are:
Nepomuk File Indexing ...
System Monitor
Plus more...

One program I noticed being almost useless is PDF Viewer 0.1.8. It displays colors wrong.

I look forward to next beta.

Slow

I am using latest beta and this is slow compared to other Puppy's. I use a i5 2450M (I hope that is correct) and other Puppy's like Slacko (the latest) loads programs immediatelly while this Precise takes about two seconds per program to load. What is the problem with this Puppy? Regards. P.S. I wan...

First off I really enjoy all these Puppy releases but I have a question.

Why do you keep hosting these isos on ibiblio which is super slow when a torrent would probably be a lot faster and maybe keep the bandwidth down?

Regards.
