I can confirm that Steam works for "precise puppy 5.4.3" nearly out of box. The only problem being that the script created in /usr/bin tries to call on dpkg. Comment out lines 120-149 or in other words made it look like this #function install_extra_packages() #{ # # Get the list of package...

I would like to report success so far with the new build. I have tried on 2 systems so far, no network issues and no screen issues to be reported so far. I need to go through and test all the APPS to confirm, but so far Frisbee, Firefox, GetFlash and alsamixer are all I can think of that I have used...

Yes, I have rebooted after moving the files, then after rmmod + mod probe. I did also already try moving the files contained in the firmware folder up to the lib folder one branch up and even in the iwlwifi the branch above that. Each time I did so I rebooted then tried the rmmod + modprobe. All wit...

Reran rmmod and modprobe and according to dmesg iwlwifi cannot find the firmware file "iwlwifi-100-5.ucode" which is one of the files we moved in the previous step. Here on 3.1.10.3 there is an identical file structure for the iwlwifi and when I run dmesg i get no errors reported in associ...

Well, I tried that pup with no luck. I decompressed the pup and checked the script to see if it had worked as intended. I found that it was trying to move a folder to a subfolder of itself which throws an error. I have changed the script to fix that issue. Now that I have the files in the correct lo...

Here's my dmesg output. If there is anything else I can do let me know, I have plenty of time on my hands at the moment, lol.

Alright, I guess it's something I'll just have to deal with for the time being. I do understand that ATI drivers have never been the easiest to deal with at times, and most systems I encounter are Intel, so the ones I come across that are ATI I will just have to endure the limitations. Most applicat...

pemasu, I was wondering if there were any plans on adding a catalyst sfs files to your repo? You already have the "xorg high" and nvidia drivers is your repo, but not ati/amd. I ask because, for portability sake, having these as mountable/unmountable sfs is absolutely amazing. If not I wou...
