Thanks.
Thanks for this, I was just trying to figure this out because my Firefox used to auto-update, this method worked perfectly, and I updated my flash too, however had to put the flash file in /usr/lib/adobe-flashplugin to get it to update properly. Do you have a method to run the latest Java as well? O...

How to run a .desktop file from Firefox?
So I am testing a remote access program called "Bomgar". It works over the internet by having the client access the Bomgar website and enter a code. It is made for Windows, Mac, and Linux of which my company uses all. My issue is that on Puppy, I can make the software work but not in a way...

Welp, it's open, now to grab Double Dash and give it a test run. Awesome! Did you just install everything I told you to, or was there more you had to do? You are going to find that (on Wii games at least) the emulator is slow unless you have a top-of-the-line gaming system. The same can be said no ...

Ran in terminal; libopenal.so.1 missing. What do? You can try this: http://puppylinux.org/wikka/openal I would say do it at your own risk, since I do not remember having to install this, and I don't see it in my package manager as being installed, but it is a dotpet, so most likely won't hurt anyth...

I just wanted to say that I did get Dolphin to work in Lucid Puppy without wine, but I probably did it in a sloppy, unrecommended way. Regardless I have a post on how to do it here: http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=79831

You can run NO$GBA through Wine? I'd probably have been reluctant to try that. :D (Well, aside from the fact that my Linux system is mostly ten year-old hardware...) I run NO$GBA with wine and it is still buggy, so I installed No$Zoomer in wine which runs NO$Zoomer and then runs NO$GBA thro...

Dolphin-Emu (Wii and Gamecube emulator)
So I am quite a noob with Puppy Linux, but I have managed (abeit in a very crude way I suppose) to get Dolphin to run in Puppy. On my computer I haven't managed to get it running at correct speed, but it does work quite well regardless. I had to install the .deb package, and .deb libs below to get i...
