Most thinkpads I used (at least 4 diffrend models, oldest 233Mhz wit 128MB RAM) just worked ice with puppy. Just give Lupu 520 a try (worked fine with my "newest" model (T43).

after a log 'puppy-free' time. So excuse me, when I'm not up=to=date with all topics I installed puppy 3.98 on a Thinkpad600. Here are my problems/bugs: 1. even with mount-FULL, I'm not able to do a nfs mount 2. when running gxine, selecting 'open', the window I get is out of the screen left an top....

used the recommente method, but didn't helped (the xorg.conf file already exists anyway).
I now use 1.0.8r1, which runs fine with xvesa (selecting the xorgwizard made the computer boot instandly).
Are there any known issus with matrox mystique cards?
