Been a while since I went through the wizard, does the local storage come up before or after the output? Perhaps unplug both and plug in whichever comes up first? Then leave it and plug the second in?
I dont know if the partition is an issue, I use an 8gb card straight up.

Yup, I use alix too. Have you anything else plugged in to the usb bus at the same time? Just spitballing....perhaps a cmd for connected devices without it plugged in and one after it is plugged in? Not sure what it would be, one would think that it would be an sda1 being the only hdd. Have you looke...

This is from the front page, have you tried it in the wizard? I am looking to keep everything off the usb bus but the dac, I am no whiz with this stuff, just learning as I go! Storage Configuration The first dialog will ask you whether your audio is stored locally or via a network share. Network Sha...

Hey Kocozze, I run it on an Alix 2d2. Easiest I can think of is look at the 0.92a thread, will run this from memory. Download unetbootin, load the CF card so you can see it in your normal file setup. You may need a usb card reader, I do on my HP laptop. Save the file in the cf card as per instructio...

Earlier in this thread there was info about booting from usb and music on usb. Have a look through this and the previous mpdpup thread which was .92 from memory. If the atom board has an sd card slot try to install pup there, as it runs direct from ram after boot. There are some command line changes...

Hey Idolse,
Quick question, looking to use the Amanero as a USB output device, this is capable to pass DSD and am reading that the 0.17 can pass DSD over PCM, according to here anyways ://slimnet.home.xs4all.nl/mytek/
Just thought I'd ask the question.
Thanks for all your efforts,
Drew

Hey RayCTech, I remember you now, was interested in your AMT's, are they going to be available for DIY'ers soon? Apologies for the OT. Just been reading your posts here, I have an Alix 2D2, I follow, but just nod and smile and nod cause that's about all I got when you fellas start on about compiling...

I would say yes on the output of the dac, you will be able to separate through the DCX. As the DAC will be an analogue out make sure you have the gain or output level to suit the DCX as the lightspeed etc are passive devices. Also the LDR's need to be matched, you can buy matched sets off Uriah at b...

Hey mulitblitz, I think I was one of the first that ran the Alix, I followed the instructions on the first post with using netbootin and putty. The cf works. And works well. Haven't tried the USB. Reason- I want nothing but the USB card on the bus. My thoughts would be to follow the netbootin via a ...

Toine, Recommend not forgetting the Alix 2D2. Though it uses a cf card, takes about a minute to boot its really not that bad. I am working on getting the LED's to work on the Alix. The upside with the 2D2 is all connections are on the rear of the board, and using a cf keeps the USB bus free from oth...
