Ahhh, I just got FF13 without needing a script or making a pet. It’s about a 7Mb download to upgrade from 12 to 13.

By the way, does that script make a pet for Slack or Lucid?

My bad, I retract the question. ;)

... hit f2 at the initial screen. Then type puppy pfix=ram. If you just want to boot with pfix=ram , from CD, that is , - why go the round-about way of pressing F2? Why not just enter puppy pfix=ram ? F1, F2, F3 , and whatnot in your particular puppy tells isolinux to display that particular (help/...

Are clicks at distrowatch important? Maybe they are and maybe they aren’t. People will read into it whatever they want. One thing is certain, visits and clicks is how distrowatch gets people to look at their ads. How can they lose with hordes of linux fanatics clicking links 24 hours a day? I wish I...

Re: Is Puppy recognition growing?

Hi all, I did some searching and found this announcement from SOFTPEDIA regarding Lucid Puppy 5.2 when it was released just over a year ago. I doubt anyone but puppy users notice new releases. The rest of the world has other things to do.

Most people think puppy is a rescue disc or a curiosity. They use it once or twice, throw it in a drawer and forget it.
