I have tried the various debian packages on the dropbox page as well as the instructions for installing it from the terminal. Anyone have it working in a way that my beginners brain can follow. Thanks so much.

minimum font size fix anyone

From googling many people find some of the text font in google chrome too small. I could not find a solution like the no squint extension for firefox (or just setting a minimum font size that cannot be overidden by web pages). try typing alsamixer into the terminal, checking if it is muted (left right arrows to select control, mute is the first control, spacebar toggles) Than make sure your main analogue and digital volume is not set to 0, again controlled by direction arrows.

Once error checking and defraging the drive in windows enabled puppy to see it.

Another option is to use puppy to reformat the drive to ext3.
