Sage, I don't think any computer several years old is worthed to fix, usually You can get chiper used one, or replace with a current version that's on the market. But as long as it works is fine. I use a very old Sony Vaio P3 500 MHz 256 MB RAM notebook. I have installed on my PC win XP, Lubuntu 12.04, Bodhi Linux 1.4 and Precise 5.3.95 frugal. Everythings works a OK so far. Please set a repository with apps tested for precise puppy, like You have for the other puppies flavors. It makes much easier to customize, instead of browsing forums and colecting all the goodies.

autoconnect and default apps
I can not set autoconnect to WPA protected network, each time I have to pick up profile I created, second I loading libreoffice.sfs at boot, but I can not assign libreoffice apps as the default. Is there any fix for it.
